There was a brown-out at my neighborhood last night. Power supply was patchy coming and going at hourly intervals, even when the power is resumed it seem as if the voltage was fluctuating constantly; cue in flickering light. Of course, my picky PC wasn’t really happy with the power and it opted to commit hara kiri. (Thank haruhi it was recoverable)
Feels really out of it with nothing to do, no charge on the PSP, no TV, no internet, not even a decent light to read by. Dang.

i experienced blackout as well in my area on friday. lasted 3 hours.
